About me
I was born and raised in Banaras (also called Varanasi), the holy city of India. I have a Master’s degree in Visual Arts, specializing in Applied Arts, from Banaras Hindu University.
Since moving to London in 2006, I have been working as a freelance painter as well as a qualified Montessori Early Year Childcare Education.
My Art

Everyday life and culture of Banaras have strongly influenced my artwork. My paintings include a range of subjects represented through the dynamic flow of vibrant colours, mainly in abstract forms and shapes. Acrylic and watercolour are two of my most favourite mediums for paintings.
My work reflects the vibrant colors and timeless traditions of my hometown, blending contemporary techniques with the essence of Indian life. Through mediums like watercolour, acrylic, black and white drawing, and mixed media, I aim to capture both emotion and story in every piece.
My Approach
My art is a reflection of emotion, culture, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments. Inspired by the rich heritage and spiritual depth of abstract art, I seek to translate memory, mood, and meaning into every brushstroke.
I work across a range of mediums—watercolour, acrylic, black and white drawing, and mixed media—allowing each piece to develop its own unique voice. I value storytelling through texture, light, and colour, blending traditional and contemporary techniques to create work that feels both personal and timeless.
Whether I’m creating an original piece, a commissioned portrait, or restoring a cherished artwork, my approach remains grounded in sensitivity, attention to detail, and a deep respect for the craft.
